Instead of just giving up, I work to solve problems. It puts me in a scientific mode and gives me the patience to handle the issues. It has changed the way I think of problems, so now I am able to view problems objectively.
It pointed out to us that we needed a home care aide. It’s a good way to keep evaluating the benefit of using adult day care.
It helped me keep in mind all of the different things I need to be able to do. It made me aware of what deficits to look for.
It breaks activities down so that you can differentiate between people who don’t have cognitive issues but have physical limitations and people for whom cognitive issues are the primary problem.
